New development coming to Northwest Vegas

Groundbreaking has started on a new mixed-use parcel along the northwest edge of Skye Canyon, adding retail and dining space to a community that has, until now, leaned heavily on Centennial Hills for day-to-day needs.
The project is expected to bring several restaurant pads and a small retail center, similar in scale to what opened near Providence Marketplace a few years ago.
For homeowners nearby, new retail typically does two things: it shortens the list of reasons to drive elsewhere, and it tends to support home values in the surrounding blocks as the area matures.
What This Means for Homeowners
If you own in Skye Canyon, new retail like this is generally a tailwind for values over the next 12-24 months — but it rarely moves the needle on its own. Pair it with your specific comps before assuming it changes your number.
