Inventory is rising across the northwest. Here's what that means.
By Jason Helliwell
Active inventory across Northwest Las Vegas has climbed for three consecutive months, and is now noticeably higher than this time last year.
This isn't a sign of a falling market on its own — it's largely new listings catching up after a stretch of tight supply, plus normal seasonal patterns.
But it does change the negotiating dynamic. Buyers have more to choose from, and homes that are priced even slightly aggressively are sitting longer than they would have six months ago.
What This Means for Homeowners
If you're thinking about selling, rising inventory means presentation and pricing accuracy matter more than they did earlier this year — buyers now have real alternatives to compare you against.
