What the latest road projects mean for residents

Clark County has begun widening work on one of the northwest's main connector roads, a project expected to run through much of next year.
Expect lane reductions and some detours during construction, mostly during weekday daytime hours.
Once complete, the wider road should ease one of the more consistent bottlenecks for residents commuting toward the Beltway.
